Effective Governance is a critical part to realize the full potential of the Business Systems and Business Processes. Master Data Management (MDM) is about discipline. So, often consultants will advise to implement a separate MDM-system. At mi4v we understand this approach, but we will help you try to avoid this. Because we believe the systems you use to run your business, also should be the systems where you govern your master data.
Implementing Data Governance implies creating :

Note, Data Governance is not:
- A separate, distinct function within the organization. Data Governance results in the possibility to create and maintain master data in an organized and correct way.
- MDM is not synonymous with data cleansing and scrubbing.
